What good does holding the push up position do?

Answer:
it holds the position of a push up leaving you to hold your body weight resulting in some upper body strength.. so basically its another form of exercise that builds the same body part of a push up...what i cant tell you is wich works better
strengthens your arms
Helps strengthen your abdominal muscle and your arms. Remember to tighten your stomach when doing this and hold the push up position for 45sec!
